Dalo Memorial High School Foron was established in 1980 and was officially commissioned on the 7th June 1981 by the then civilian governor of Plateau State Chief Solomon Daushep Lar, the school then had the population of 33 students. The population kept growing and as now Dalo Memorial High School Foron has a population of 500 students
The school was named after the British pioneer missionary in the then Plateau North province, the Rev T.L. Suffil who was given the title “Dalo” meaning head of the house in Berom. He was simply called “Dalo” by the host Berom in appreciation of his good work done among the Beroms. The Church decided to immortalise his name by establishing a high school and naming it after him with his local name “Dalo”. Thus DALO MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL was born.
